If you would like to offer RLI products, you must become an appointed RLI producer. The appointment process begins by completing the online appointment request on RLICORP.COM.
Before you apply
Before requesting an appointment, make sure you have:
Your agency information
Your producer license information
Your contact information
Your agency's E&O insurance information, if applicable
Additional information may be required as part of the appointment review process.
Request an appointment
Go to Get Appointed Page.
Choose the product you would like to get appointed with.
Complete and submit the online appointment request form.
An RLI representative will review your request and contact you regarding next steps.
Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee approval. RLI reviews each request to determine whether an appointment is appropriate based on its business needs and underwriting objectives.
What happens after you apply?
After your request is submitted:
RLI reviews the information provided.
If additional information is needed, an RLI representative will contact you.
If approved, RLI will provide instructions for completing the appointment process.
The review process may vary depending on your agency, licensing requirements and the products you intend to write.
